Lavinia Platerink

Lavinia (“Livvy”) is an Associate on the Investment Team at Two Bear Capital, where she sources investment opportunities and supports diligence on new and existing investments with a focus on artificial intelligence, quantum computing, and cybersecurity technologies. Previously, she served as a Research Analyst at the firm. Before joining Two Bear, she spent two summers at S32; her market research on vertical AI in fintech and logistics shaped two of the firm’s investments, including Puzzle Financial’s Series A. In previous data analyst roles, Livvy developed cloud-cost-optimization algorithms at Unity Technologies and parsed ATLAS collision data at CERN in partnership with the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory—experiences that anchor her evidence-driven approach to evaluating emerging tech. Earlier, she engineered suspension geometry for UC Berkeley’s Formula Electric team, competing in the 2022 SAE Electric Vehicle event. Livvy holds a BA in Applied Mathematics, with a minor in Physics.
