Kristen Getchell, PhD

Kristen Getchell is Head of Platform, Partner at Two Bear Capital. In this role, she develops and manages post-investment portfolio support, helps foster founder and operator relationships, and leads strategic programs that drive value across the portfolio. Kristen is the Karani Term Chair and a professor of business communication at Babson College and a certified executive coach. She is an award-winning teacher and scholar with experience building high-impact communication programs, scaling founder and operator support, and leading portfolio-wide initiatives in venture capital and higher education. Her areas of expertise include facilitating cross-functional collaboration and driving measurable outcomes through storytelling, coaching, and systems design. Kristen earned a PhD from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, an MA from Dartmouth College, and a BA from the University of Connecticut.
