Prior to joining Pure, Joe was a Senior Vice President at Cisco, where he oversaw six service businesses and the technical services team. During his 28-year tenure at Cisco, his team developed Cisco’s first technical support website and created an industry-leading solution support offer for global customers and partners. He has sponsored customers in the banking, finance and service-provider industries, helping build strong and trusted business relationships. Joe is also involved with several startups, both as an advisor and board member. He served as the Chair of the Engineering Industry Advisory Council plus was on the Tower Foundation, both at San Jose State University. He received the community partner award from SJSU in 2017. She is a professor in the departments of Genitourinary Medical Oncology and Immunology, Associate VP of Immunobiology and the T.C. and Jeanette D. Hsu Endowed Chair in Cell Biology at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. Pam is the inaugural Scientific Director for the Immunotherapy Platform and the Director of Scientific Programs for the James P. Allison Institute at MD Anderson Cancer Center. She has written and conducted multiple innovative immunotherapy clinical trials with an emphasis on obtaining patients’ tumor samples for in-depth laboratory studies. Pam did her clinical fellowship at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and trained at New York Hospital, Cornell Medical Center and Pennsylvania State University. Among other honors, she was awarded the 2021 Randall Prize for Excellence in Cancer Research.
